Hello lovelies!
I absolutely love the city of Paris, it is known as the romantic capital of the world and I completely agree! When you see the Eiffel Tower in person, you are just mesmerized. I also love when it sparkles at night time for five minutes on the hour every hour. Read below on our adventures in Paris and how we got in trouble with the police! 😳
The beautiful Arc de Triomphe. Let me tell you, it was VERY hard to get a good picture without any cars. It took a while, but thank goodness my husband didn't mind waiting haha. The Arc de Triomphe is located at the end of the Champs-Élysées where we did some shopping and ate at a delicious bakery, Ladurée Paris Champs Elysées. You can see in the picture below, I got a box of macarons and a rose raspberry pastry. Hands down, the best pastries I have ever had and it was worth the 45 minute wait. I had coffee with my pastries with an Eiffel Tower view that was actually on the balcony of our hotel. We stayed at the Citadines hotel which was really nice because the location was so good. It was only a ten minute walk to the Eiffel Tower.
White flared out top and red trousers are by Topshop.
We took a quick metro ride to see the Notre-Dame de Paris. The gothic cathedral is absolutely stunning and right across the street from it was the Shakespeare and Company library and cafe. We took a picture inside even though we weren't supposed to 🙊.
Flower shops are everywhere in Paris and they are oh so lovely. I wanted to buy some, but of course that wouldn't have been smart. We tried out this restaurant, Le Depart Saint Michel, and the food plus dessert was delicious! We had the steak and fries, egg and tomato sandwich, and a nutella milkshake 😋.

Bike riding around Paris. Doesn't get any more perfect than this. After the first day of walking so much in Paris, our feet hurt, so we tried out renting bikes and it was wonderful! It was so easy because they are all over the city and you can rent and return them at any location. We decided to walk to some places and then when we were tired, we rented the bikes to go back to our hotel so it was very convenient.
The Louvre museum was so gorgeous. It is the largest museum in the world, so you can imagine that you need several hours to spend in there. Bryan wanted to see everything! lol I did too, but it is soo large! I was so happy to see the original Mona Lisa and other beautiful pieces. Definitely a must see if you visit Paris and it was only around $18 for a ticket!
Ok, so I was very excited to get to the Pont des Arts bridge and put a love lock on it for Bryan and I because it was the "love lock bridge", but once I got there, all the locks were gone! 😥 I didn't know that in 2016, the city started removing all of the locks. But it was still fun to visit!,
So I had to take a picture in front of the Metro because Bryan and I absolutely hated it! haha we got lost the first day in it for about an hour when it was only supposed to be like a ten minute ride. By the last day, we got the hang of it, but we got in trouble with some police officers there 😝. It was our last night and we only had one metro ticket left and I didn't want to buy another, so I forced my husband to try to sneak in with me, but we got caught by the Metro security and lets just say they were not nice to us at all! They screamed at us, said they were going to call the cops, and forced us to pay a sixty euro fine. We definitely learned our lesson and would never break the law again, but we were done with the French at that point lol. Time for home!
From the amazing food and coffee to the stunning buildings, Paris will forever be a city I will always be in love with and always want to visit. We had so much fun eating sandwiches and strawberry nutella crepes every day. We sure made memories and I can't wait to come back and make new ones. Thanks for reading lovelies!

Xo,
