Hello lovelies!

This was my beautiful baby shower that my family threw for me. It was at my parent's house that overlooked the city of Sacramento. Ever since I found out I was pregnant, I always knew I wanted my shower at my parent's house and it was a dream come true. The reason I chose the theme "Honey Bee" was because when Bryan and I started dating, I would call him my grizzly bear and he would call me his honey bee. So when we found out I was pregnant and we didn't know the gender, we would call the baby either a little Yepes cub or a little Yepes bee. So that is how the theme came about!

I am so grateful for my family for decorating and setting up everything for the baby shower. My family had set up the tables and ordered beautiful flowers for my center pieces. My sister, Ruth, had made the honeycomb backdrop, where the cupcakes stood on, out of wooden hexagon boxes. She also did a few DIY projects throughout the party. For the thank you favors, we had Burt's Bee lip balms for the guests.

Now for the delicious part! We had ordered honey bee cupcakes from Icing on the Cupcake, macarons from Ginger Elizabeth and a friend of ours made the bee cake for us. Seriously these bakeries are so delicious and they never disappoint!

The dress I am wearing is from Pacsun and I got it last year. Originally, I bought a very similar looking dress from Nordstrom, but by the time my baby shower came around, it didn't fit and I actually broke the zipper! haha. The shoes are Vince Camuto and they are so cute, but by the end of the night, I couldn't wait to take them off! Hello, 36 weeks pregnant and 24 pounds heavier! lol.
Thanks so much for reading and I hope you enjoyed!

Xo,
